Oberon - Find Him

A sketch I originally wasn't going to color. This was just a project for my school as well as my D&D world. In D&D there's the Warlock class who can get their powers from powerful: Fiends, Fey, or Elder Gods. In my setting I wanted to make three for each personally. This is one of the three great Fey, Oberon.

In my setting and like most Shakespearean tales and old myths about him, Oberon is Titania's loving husband. Titania being one of the two queens of the fairies. Oberon was a boy cursed to never grow past the size of an infant. In my rendition he absorbed a lot of magic from being with Titania and the Fey as their king for so long he became more like Cernunnos who I drew a while ago. They are not as capricious and finicky as they're usually depicted in say "Midsummer Knight's Dream". They accumulate more dignity, respect, and class.

For Warlocks in my setting he is the Fey god patron of: nature and especially animals, brotherhood, bonds, romance, and the moon. "Never break your bonds." Serving him requires you as a Warlock to help animals, help keep brotherly bonds, whether by blood or close ties, help romance blossom, and do missions for him usually requiring animal or Fey rescuing.

As opposed to Queen Titania, patron of: Seele Fey, good magic, friendship, trust, and day. "Never break our trust."

And Queen Mab, patron of: Unseelie Fey, black magic, promises, air, and night. "Never break a promise."

I know he's disproportionate in a few places like his arm, legs, and feet especially. I might come back and finish this. I did very much enjoy making the pose and that body...
